It's a...

BOY!!!
We had the anatomy ultrasound today and all looks good with our second little man. He is measuring right on schedule and is about 10 ounces. His heart rate was 142 beats per minute. We are so excited that Isaac is going to have a little brother to play with! Profile of baby

1 Year Photos

So, I just realized that I never shared Isaac's one year photos. It is only two months late, but better late than never!

14 Months

Isaac has now started to stand up without crawling to a wall or piece of furniture. He starts out on his hand and knees and slowly moves his arms and legs together with his butt in the air. Then Isaac will just pop up and start walking. It is the cutest thing!

Oh Happy Day

Today has been a wonderful day all around.
I had a doctors appointment today and instead of taking Isaac with me I had a friend watch him. I was a little worried about this since somebody other than family has not watched him in months. She said he did really great! It was much easier going to the doctors without Isaac. He can only stand to sit still for a short amount of time before getting fussy. I was able to concentrate on the appointment and get all the questions I needed answered, answered.
Baby 2.0 is doing great. The doctor did another ultrasound because she finds it easier to get a heart rate this way rather than by doppler. Baby was moving all around and I can't believe how much bigger it has gotten again in just a month. This is a side view of the head with the hand up by the ear:We also discussed my delivery options. Since my labor progressed and the only reason I ended up with a c-section with Isaac was because of fever (me) and poor positioning (Isaac) I can try for a vaginal birth this time. This is the news I have been wanting to hear! After I had Isaac I was not allowed to carry anything over 10 pounds. With an 8 pound newborn this is not a problem, but now I have a 25 pound toddler. I cannot imagine not being able to lift him for 6-8 weeks. So, as long as Baby 2.0 decides to come on time I can try a vaginal birth. The doctor said that if I go over my due date it is an automatic c-section. So, I am praying that everything works out for the best this time around.
I also went and got our taxes done. Thanks to Isaac and the house, Uncle Sam owes us a nice chunk of change this year!
