Weight: 26 pounds 8 ounces
Length: 32 inches
Head: 49 cm
So, since January he has just basically maintained his weight and is putting on inches. The doctor said his growth is great. What is still not great his is speaking. At 15 months she wanted him to say 5 words by now, which he is doing. She said that this is the bare minimum and that he should go through a word explosion soon. If he doesn't say 20 words in the next three months then we have to call them and go from there. We know that Isaac can hear and understand us. We can give simple commands (go upstairs, go to your room, etc.) and Isaac will do them. I think he is just being stubborn, but I don't know.
Isaac also had to get two vaccines. He cried for a bit, but quickly got over it. Before we left he got to pick a toy from the treasure chest. Isaac, of course, choose a little ball.

15 month Check-Up
Weight: 25 pounds
Length: 31 inches
So in three months Isaac hasn't really changed much. Steven and I were very surprised because he seems so much taller to us. The doctor said that Isaac is evening out now and is more proportional than he was in the past. She was concerned that he is not talking yet. Everything she suggested we do, we already do. We know he can hear just fine. We can tell him to do stuff and he does it and he gets his point across when he wants something. I am trying not to worry, but it is hard. Isaac will talk when he is good and ready.

Oh Happy Day
Today has been a wonderful day all around.
I had a doctors appointment today and instead of taking Isaac with me I had a friend watch him. I was a little worried about this since somebody other than family has not watched him in months. She said he did really great! It was much easier going to the doctors without Isaac. He can only stand to sit still for a short amount of time before getting fussy. I was able to concentrate on the appointment and get all the questions I needed answered, answered.
Baby 2.0 is doing great. The doctor did another ultrasound because she finds it easier to get a heart rate this way rather than by doppler. Baby was moving all around and I can't believe how much bigger it has gotten again in just a month. This is a side view of the head with the hand up by the ear:
We also discussed my delivery options. Since my labor progressed and the only reason I ended up with a c-section with Isaac was because of fever (me) and poor positioning (Isaac) I can try for a vaginal birth this time. This is the news I have been wanting to hear! After I had Isaac I was not allowed to carry anything over 10 pounds. With an 8 pound newborn this is not a problem, but now I have a 25 pound toddler. I cannot imagine not being able to lift him for 6-8 weeks. So, as long as Baby 2.0 decides to come on time I can try a vaginal birth. The doctor said that if I go over my due date it is an automatic c-section. So, I am praying that everything works out for the best this time around.
I also went and got our taxes done. Thanks to Isaac and the house, Uncle Sam owes us a nice chunk of change this year!
