Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year! Isaac was a kitty and Andrew was a bat. Playgroup had a party on Saturday and the only way Isaac would wear his costume was without the hat and with one arm out of a sleeve. On Halloween Isaac was too distracted by everything going on that he left the whole costume on the entire time. Andrew did not mind his costume at all. He just slept in the stroller the whole time while we waked the neighborhood. Isaac actually figured out (by watching the other kids) how to walk up to a house and knock on the door. Hopefully next year he will be able to say "Trick or Treat". Isaac was so cute!

Its the Small Things

This morning Isaac was making his usual noises to let me know that he was awake. I was already downstairs with Andrew, and as I was making my way up and going down the hallway I heard Isaac say, "Mom, mom." When he saw me he had a smile on his face. I said, "Aww, that made my day!" Then Isaac said what sounded like, "cool."
Its the small things like this that make motherhood so worthwhile!
